Bessey

To glue edges, backsplashes, anti-grip elements BESSEY TPN10BE clamps are used.

To glue solid surface substrate to a countertop use BESSEY TPN20B8BE or TPN30BE clamps.

To make a seamless joint of two large solid surface elements during installation use BESSEY PS130 vacuum clamps.

Cut Out

Straight-line solid surface sheet cut is made with FESTOOL TS 55 R plunge-cut saw. A unique non-chipping system together with highly precise guide rail provide for a perfect cut.

Routing

Basic routing and seaming preparation operations are made with a powerful and precise FESTOOL OF 2200 router. A lighter and ergonomical FESTOOL OF 1400 router can be used as a supplementary router (e.g. for profiling the edge). It is recommended to use bits with 12mm shank.

Sanding and Polishing. Dust Extraction. By FESTOOL

It is highly recommended to use FESTOOL ROTEX RO 150 FEQ geared eccentric sander for the major solid surface grinding, sanding and polishing operations. RO 150 is capable to fulfill preliminary and coarse sanding, high quality polishing. FESTOOL CT 26 dust extractor is used for chip disposal after sanding. It can be used with two tools at the same time. FESTOOL CT MINI mobile dust extractor is used with sanders during installation process.

Thermoforming

To thermoform small solid surface elements (e.g. 40mm edge stripes) STEINEL HG 2310 LCD heat gun is used. More powerful STEINEL HG 5000E heat gun is needed for heating workpieces of up to 250mm width. To thermoform large pieces of solid surface it is required to use stationary equipment for thermoforming, which is upon request.

Hot-Melt Equipment
